Sign in to My Account with your Xfinity username and password.
Select the Settings tab in the menu bar at the top of the page.
Select Username & Password in the left menu bar.
On the right side of the page, you will see the Two-Step Verification option.

In many cases, this does not work. A window appears with "Are you sure you want to trun off two-step verification" choices "Go Back" or "Turn off". When I click "Turn off", another windows appears with "! Looks like something went wrong - Please reloard the page and try again" choice "Reload Now" (or X for close in upper right corner of dialogue box. Reload continues to do nothing, a neverending cycle) Working with an upper level tech as I type.
Solution: Tech removed cell phone number from my account, turning off the two step verification process, then after exiting email, (if in Chrome, clear bwosing data). I then logged in without the need of a number from a text. Tech re-added cell phone number, I verified, and all is well.
