First of all thanks for reposting minus your personal data. I understand your frustration and hopefully we can figure this out.
"I had Comcast/Xfinity Internet for quite a while with Norton anti-virus supplied to me through Comcast. I canceled the Wi-Fi for A period of time eventually turning it back on...."
By the above do you mean that you cancelled the Internet portion of your Comcast product? I ask as canceling Internet will also terminate your free Norton coverage and actually invalidate the PIN used to control your Norton product. That is why Norton said, "Comcast had Cancelled my pin".

If not, please let us know where in the instructions things went astray.
I had the same nebulous, lost in the loops issue. When I try reactivate the service included from Xfinity/com Xfinity/comcast and Symantec Norton Life Lock are acting dishonest.
Each time you try to access WHAT YOU WANT, THE BUTTON IS INACTIVE. BOTH CONGLOMERATES ARE TRYING TO FORCE NEW PRODUCTS OR UPGRADES ON CUSTOMERS, i GIVE U 2 the BOOT.......
You too are obviously intellingent, rationale, paying customer, who detests the time wasted with ridiculous call centers offshore, with too much noise and interruption, no resolve of problem, redirect to another ""www...."link or phone number, electronically directing you to another website which then redirects you to the first inapplicable link.
ARE Xfiinity/comcast and Symantec NORTON Kidding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????? Your employees and contractors are paid for their phone time...I am not but should charge in ten minute segments for my lost PRODUCTIVE, paid work time.
This is proving to be a scam, disgraceful and you are going to be cancelled!! HOW DARE THEY edit these public posts.!!
A few details on your situation (re: OS, Default Browser, definition of "reactivation", and which links you ae trying to follow) might assist us in helping you.
You stated: "HOW DARE THEY edit these public posts.!!" I have checked the Edit History of both of your posts and do not see where anyone from Comcast/Norton has edited your posts.
