New Laptop no Norton

I received a new laptop, went to install Norton, but the 13 digit key that comes up during installation indicates the pin code is associated with another account and I need to sign into the account.  I don't have another account.  I called comcast and after 1.5 hours on hold was told they could not help.  I tried to call norton (24/7 support) but they are closed.  How do I get a valid pin?

Just a few questions to start with:

  • Have you had Comcast's free Norton installed on a previous device (PC ,Laptop etc)?
  • Have you had a previous Comcast Account in another location?
  • Are you sure you logged into your Primary Comcast Account prior to starting the download of Norton.
  • Have you removed any trial AV that could have come installed on your new laptop?

Norton Chat Support is not available at present time, but you can go here  and select the "View Local Phone Numbers" and go from there.
