I have same question/issue. And I cannot reach Xfinity through their Chat service. I cannot stand calling because it always takes and hour or so on hold. I am hoping to get an answer on line, somehow.

I would like to use your solution, but Norton will not allow me to log on before I pay $50. As far as Norton is concerned, Xfinity does not provide this service to its subscribers. I am not the only subscriber who cannot clear this up.
