I have a loved one with Dementia who is constantly pressing the input button on her remote causing her cable to go off from the tv. Due to this, we have to drive all the way over and set the proper input... a few times a week. Is there a way to disable the input button on the remote, maybe through accessibility options or parental locks?
I really need a solution to this if anyone can help.
Sorry, no there isn’t. Depending on the equipment they have, if you get hold of an old DTA remote (maybe EBay), it’s pretty basic and has no input button. Other than reprogramming the remote to operate the tv, or taping over the button or pull out the rubber so it doesn’t get pressed.
