Good evening @user_5oksii, and thank you for taking the time to reach out on our Community Forums, may I ask if your old modem was an XFINITY modem as well? You can try to pick up a new coax cable at your local XFINITY retail location. Please visit https://www.xfinity.com/local/store-offers to find your nearest location along with the associated store hours.
