Cax80 speeds slower than Comcast modem/router
I recently purchased the Netgear cax80 and on all the speed tests i have done from various sites, I'm getting under 500 down. When i switch back to the Comcast modem, i get 1.2 down. I have fun the test with various sites test applications and it is constant.
Why do y'all certify i product if you don't know it works...

Hello @Avezes09, thank you for reaching out for help with your connection. According to Device Info - Xfinity, the Cax80 is approved for the 1.2 Gbps speed tier, and we will be glad to take a look at this in more detail. To get started, please use the chat icon in the upper right to enter Direct Messaging. From there, go ahead and compose a new message to "Xfinity Support" and send us a message with your name and address.
Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "direct messaging" icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message

Hey @Avezes09 I can't speak for anything about your network but I have the CAX80 (firmware v2.1.3.5 | cable v1.02.08) and over the 2.5gb port I can get 1.4 down and I have for months. My upload speed is garbage but that isn't the CAX80s fault (I'm looking at you xfinity!) I assume you are testing it over that 2.5 port right?
