Unable to stream

Suddenly my xfinity.com/stream is no longer working. Nothing happens when I click on any channel. I have tried both my usual Chrom browser as well as Safari on my Mac.

Update here in NJ:  Streaming Portal is now working for me again.  Thanks to the few people who informed us that it was a known issue. Wouldn't it be in Xfinity's best interest to just let customers know there's an issue upfront?...so we customers wouldn't be dumping caches, clearing cookies, trying other browsers, etc. etc. etc....

@XfinityGabriel​ How about ANY information on when this might be fixed? I've already had to miss WNBA games due to this issue. Last year it happened during football season! This is unacceptable. This is my only access to TV and when it's down for most of a season of sports it feels like I'm just getting robbed of my money.

There's actually a known issue for the Xfinity streaming portal not working right now and our engineers are looking into getting this fixed as soon as possible.

 

Currently there's no ETA on when the portal will be fixed,  but the workaround is to use the  xfinity streaming  app on a mobile device to be able to stream your TV services

@XfinityGabriel​ Thanks for reaching out. As it happens, I visited an Xfinity store yesterday and have a new plan in place. Also want to mention I just was informed that there may be some temporary outages in my area because of work being done by Xfinity...but the Streaming problem I experienced started before that work even started and AFAIK had nothing to do with that work.  Here's hoping this gets resolved for everyone else on this page.

rggr, No problem. I am happy to hear that you were able to get a new plan in place after visiting the store. I never like interruptions to my service so I understand the inconvenience that this can cause. What I would like to do from here is check back in with you next week to see how the services are working. I want to make sure there are no more issues after those temporary interruptions. How does this sound?

Live Xfinity stream is now working for me.  Also not working for lots of other user as I read the issues.  Did you fix it yet?  What is wrong and when will it be fixed?

Same with mine, Goes to blue xfinity screen with the 3 dots and stays there. Couple times went to my channel lineup page but clicking on a channel did nothing. That is on my pc. Works on my phone but I'm not watching tv on my phone. It does work in incognito mode but I shouldn't have to use that. Anybody finds out anything please post, these xfinity replies are useless

I was having the same problem and it was driving me nuts.  I eventually cleared the Xfinity cookies from my browser and everything is working right again.

I use Chrome and didn't want to lose all the settings for my other sites so I did a Google search for " delete individual cookies from chrome" and I got step by step directions to do so.  Remember to close all Xfinity tabs before doing this and close your browser after.  I don't think I did a restart on my computer but it wouldn't hurt.  When I went back to Xfinity Stream, I had to reload the page a couple of times because it hung on the loading page and of course had to sign in again but, everything is working now.

This worked for me also (using Chrome). I deleted the Xfinity cookies, rebooted my computer, signed back into the Xfinity stream, and it is back to working normally now. Thank you for finding this solution!!!

@skintime  I am happy to hear that you are able to use the Xfinity Stream services again. Our engineers are aware that some customers are having troubles with streaming live TV at this time. There is an open ticket for this issue.

The only resolution i have found is to use a new profile (or guest, or in-private).  If use my main profile, no video's play.

I worked around the issue by creating a new browser profile that does not sign in.  You can also work around the problem by using in-private browsing.

Same here. Broken. Yesterday I could finally see the channels listed, but when I clicked on "WATCH" nothing happened. Today, I cannot even see my channels and am hung up on the purple screen.
