Still no HD channels on the now-not-Beta Xfinity Stream Roku App

Help! Why can’t I see any HD channels using the Xfinity Stream app on my Sharp Roku TV? Just went to TBS… not only was it not HD, it was fuzzy/grainy AND a smaller screen surrounded by a black frame.

Hi, @AikmanFan8. I hope you are doing well. I see you aren't able to access HD channels on Roku TV via the Stream App. I prefer to watch HD content myself, so I totally get it. If your cable plan includes these HD channels, you should have access on your end. What is the make and model of your Roku TV? Have you checked your picture settings to see what your aspect ratio is now? If you aren't sure what that is exactly, this link will explain it in more detail https://comca.st/3wkfW6k

I have almost the same problem (except the SD channels are full screen).  I see no HD channels.  The Xfinity Stream Beta used to work for HD channels.  I have a TCL/Roku TV.   The HD channels work fine on my Chromecast and Firestick, so the problem is with the Roku app on the TV.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://comca.st/3EqVMu7

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
