xfinity My Account on Android 7

I cannot use the Android My Account application any more after the last update on 15 Oct. Every time I launch it, it complains, 'In order to access Xfinity My Account, you need to enable a web browser on your mobile device.' Tried to re-install, clean cache and application data - nothing has helped.

I should not even probably mention I do have a web browser enabled on my Blu Pure View phone (Android 7.0).
