xfinity My Account app, refuses to allow bill payment. app has gone kaput

This is ridiculous.


For the past few months, I've tried every method I could think of to use the My Accounnt app and the app has become useless. For the first year at our new home, I was able to pay my bill, through the app with no problem or difficulty at all. But, for some reason, xfinity's My Account simply refuses to let me pay my bill through the app.


I've tried logging out, logging back in, rebooting my phone, clearing the data and cache and relogging back in; I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Nothing seems to work. I keep getting "Looks like something went wrong, try again". It simpy refuses to let me connect so I can pay my bill.


What good is this app if it refuses to allow a customer to pay their bill? This happens everytime I click on the link: "Make a payment".
