Possibly incorrect data usage shows in the app

Before I changed to a different TV and Internet package the value of the total data used would regularly change(increase) as I used streaming over the internet such as Netflix. After the change to the new service package the value shown under "Your total data usage is" doesn't change even though I use streaming on Netflix and other streaming vendors. I'm worried that I might be going over my data plan limit without knowing what the present total is. How can I rely on the total shown or is there another way to find out?

Thanks for the links. I just noticed a note on the site now that says xfinity is allowing unlimited data until May to help people deal with excess data load due to COVID-19.  I guess that's why my data usage isn't being monitored at present. Very customer friendly of xfinity to do this during these trying times. They get kudos from me. Thanks again for tour help RobertWy 🙂
