myacct app abends same place every time

this started recently. i launch myacct app. i sign in, it asks me which address i want to choose(so im authenitcated) and the it flashes up my slected account and then abends. then if i try to relaunch the app, it tells me i have a connection failure try again and it just repeats that cycle until i hit done or sign out and i can start all.over, same results. . i get a similar issue when trying to access my account via web in the json applet. ive tried cellular, neighbors xwifi and my iwn xfinity wifi, different isp, etc. all same, exact result. ive used this app before and it was fine. just tried again here at year end and get this repeatable issue.
