Android App Error: "We're sorry, we weren't able to connect. Please try again."

Whenever I try to log in via the My Account App, I get the above error.  This has been occurring for months now.


My phone is a Samsung S8 running Android 9.  Currently up to date on all software.


Things I have tried without success thus far:

Rebooting the phone.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Clearing the app data.

Logging in on my home Xfinity-provided WiFi.

Logging in using wireless data.

Logging in on non-Xifinity WiFi.


I can login via desktop and another Xfinity app with my credentials without issue.  The problem is specific to this app.

I'm having the same issues on Andriod 10.

I tried below steps and it worked for me. You can too give it a try.

1. Try rechecking your login id/comcast id/ email id. You can use forgot id link to check.
2. Reset your pwd
3. Try login with new password, you should be able to access your account

Sometime small error in login id creates an issue by creating new account (specially if we use forget pwd).

If still unsuccessfull then will suggest you to connect with cust support.
