The other party can't hear me and/or frequent dropped calls

I have been an Xfinity Mobile customer since it started. The experience had been positive until a couple of months ago. Here are the issues I have been having with the vast majority of my calls lately:

1. It takes an unusually long time to hear the ring tone after I enter the number and the 'call' button. Sometimes, I get a 'call failed' message right after I press the 'call' button.

2. If the call connects, the other party often can't hear me.

3. If the other party can hear me, the call sometimes gets dropped abruptly after 2 -3 minutes.

I have tried the obvious steps to correct issues:

1. Reboot the phone (iPhone 11 and iPhone SE 2020).

2. Reset the network settings.

3. Disable Wifi calling.

None of these steps helped.

Any bright mind here have an idea how to resolve these issues?

I think I've found a way to get around the issues I encountered. For iOS: Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Voice & Data, and make sure VoLTE is disabled. The call quality will be inferior, but the other part can hear you ok and no dropped calls.

this solution has not helped me, and I have the same problems with dropped calls and (at best) intermittent audio reception by parties I call.
