Xfinity connect app

Hi there! My father got a threatening email on April 24, 2020. They had some of the password so he went and changed the password. He had to change it on all of the devices and it hasn’t been easy. The xfinity connect app is accepting his email address and password on his IPad and cell phone. How can I fix this? Is there a problem with the app today? Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂
