"Text Messaging from Xfinity is unavailable at this time."
I've been seeing this message for months, perhaps years, when I click on Text in the Xfinity Connect app for iPhone. Not sure what to do about it.
If I log into the website and select Text from the menu, I see a popup that says, "Assign a Text Messaging number - Log into the Xfinity My Account website, then click on the Email & Voice Settings link to enable Voice2Go. Once enabled you can choose which phone number you wish to use with Xfinity Connect Text Messaging.", but there is no Email & Voice Settings link.
Still, I am able to find Voice2Go settings at https://connect.xfinity.com/voice/settings/voice2go;tn=[my phone number], but there's nothing there about texting.
