Forwarding a message

On Monday, Dec 7, 2020, I tried forwarding an email from my inbox to my wife’s in box. We both have iPhone 12’s and both use the xfinity connect app. I tried 3 times to forward the email. She never received it and my sent box said they were sent.
I then tried to just send her a regular unforwarded email as a test and she did get that.
Why did she not receive the forwarded email??
