Email help unable to get rid of settings menu covering sender

Since Comcast got rid of their app, sending an email on my iPhone is next to impossible. Now I can’t even enter a recipient as the setting tools covers that area with NO way to eliminate it! Comcast is the only company I know who insists on creating more problems for its customers. VERY annoying!
