Cancelling email app

I can't understand why Xfinity cancelled the email app. I've tried other apps and they allow you to read email only.

My question is why did Xfinity do this? Is it to save money? Or, make it inconvenient to use their email.

If you're looking for a replacement for Voice2Go for a landline, use *72 on the landline to forward your calls to your cell phone.

As we continue to evaluate our product offerings and streamline how you manage services with us, we retired the Xfinity Connect app and Voice2Go features on April 20, 2021.

 

Rest assured that you can continue to easily access your Comcast email from your mobile device. Here are the steps on how to do so listed below.

  • Use the Xfinity Connect web portal at https://comca.st/3ws4bZw. This site is optimized for your mobile device – and you can bookmark it for easy access from your home screen!
  • You can also listen to your voicemail, and manage all your voice settings there as well.
  • You can use the solution our amazing expert Again has provided above for a Voice2Go option or you can set up advanced call forwarding as an alternative as well. You can find steps on how to set that up here https://comca.st/2TAVFbV.
