TV won't come back on after reconnecting

Had our service suspended, paid the bill yesterday morning and the internet came back on shortly after but the tv still hasn't. It's been more than 24 hours.  I've done multiple refreshes, restarts, plug/unplugs of both the modem and the cable box(Xi6-a), I've used the app assistant and still the "please make a payment" screen pops up. There isn't any more past due amount.
