Strange issue with Xfinity App vs Xfinity My Account App

Endless sign in loop in app

I am a new customer and have just installed the app. When it prompts to sign in, it shows a "you're already signed in as" message, then goes back to the beginning. I've tried clearing my history and cache, reinstalling the app, and changing my username. Has anyone been able to fix this? Thank you!

Not getting correct speed

I just upped my speed to the 1000/20, was at 800/20 before. I have a Arris S33 modem and I'm seeing speeds of only about 925 down. That's with my M1 Macbook Air direct ethernet connected to the S33. I don't expect to see a consistent 1000 down but would expect to see higher than 925 at times?
