Pausing a Recording

Why is length of pause on recording so short since i replaced with new DVR?  It defaults in about 5 minutes on pause to Live TV.  Is this something I can change is settings? What category?

Thank you so much for reaching out to us over our Xfinity Community Forums. There could be a few different things happening here with pausing time. It will all depend on what level of DVR service you have, and the X1 Equipment you are using. Also, it could be a simple screen saver time setting that may need to be pushed out. I have included a link to an online article that will explain our different X1 TV box types, and functionality. I have also included a link that will explain how to change the Screen Saver start time.
