If you can't find a link to the Comcast.net email site on a Comcast/Xfinity page, use https://connect.xfinity.com/, and then add a bookmark or favorite to your browser for the web email page.
If that's not your problem, what is?

I use the Mail app on the iPhone to sync with my PC as it relates to my Comcast email. It was working fine until two days ago when the app asked for the password. I have used only a few passwords and tried them all. Them do no open the app on the iPhone. I went to the change password part of xFinity and changed my password. When I try to use the new password on the iPhone is still comes back saying the password is incorrect, please enter correct password. How do I get by the problem on the iPhone?
What does it mean when iPhone comes back and says imap.comcast.net does not support password authentification. How do you bypass Mail's request for a password?

To sign in to your comcast.net email:
Open your browser and enter https://connect.xfinity.com
It should open in your comcast.net email.
*** You can copy the link above and paste into your browser, but don't click on it because it won't work.
