lost email

I was recently asked by Xfinity to migrate my email account over to the Yahoo platform.  On 11/21/25 I went through the migration steps as instructed, but when I opened the email account, all of my email for the dates 11/15/25 to 11/20/25 disappeared.  I am hoping to retrieve the emails because there are important ones in there. Can anyone help me retrieve those email messages?

I am not sure there's much we can do here now since you've migrated.  Some customers have reported that missing emails show up several days later so at this point I would say wait it out a few days.

Hello user_39i3v3. Thank you for choosing Xfinity and reaching out to us here on the Xfinity Forums. We’re happy to help with your email concerns. To recover lost Xfinity emails, sign in to your account and use the “Recover Deleted Items” feature in your Trash folder. If you don’t see the emails there, be sure to check your Spam folder as well.
We know how important your emails are, so if you still can’t find them, let us know—we’ll work together

Hi, thanks for the answers, but the missing email messages have not shown up.  I do not have a 'Recovered Deleted Items' option in the trash folder.  I can't even get into Xfinity email anymore.  Any help much appreciated!

@user_39i3v3 Have you tried the "Recover Lost or Deleted Emails" process through yahoo? Check out this article for more information: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/new-yahoo-mail. As @Again mentioned, once you've migrated there's not much we can do on our end, Yahoo is responsible for all email service functionality and performance once you have accepted their terms of service.
