Can someone from Xfinity please assist with issues receiving emails ?

can send emails from my comcast.net email account but i am not receiving emails on my phone or on my PC.   I Googled Xfinity email tech support phone and Google indicated for me to call [Edit: telephone number]  The Tech(Dexter) was extremely pushy and asked me to start a LogMeIn123 session...i disconnected the call, feeling it could be a scam.   Can someone from Xfinity please assist ?

It's not just google: that phone number is scamvertised in many weird places such as IMDb so other search engines like Bing and DuckDuckGo will also point you at the same scam.  It's OK to use a search engine to try to find something like a phone number, but I wouldn't trust any result that isn't directly on the website of the company you are calling.  And even then, don't trust it if the number is in a forum or a comment section! People/bots are scamvertising everywhere they can.

Since they probably have your number now, be extra cautious about incoming calls too.  Especially any call that tries to prove they are legit by using any info you gave out on that call.

That is just crazy - cannot believe Xfinity is not immediately having the search engines take it down.....wild wild West   After hours of clicking around it seems my Filter Rules were changed - but, not by me.....    i had to go thru every rule to figure out which was causing the issue.  Seems like it may have been caused by Xfinity....           Your Xfinity email filter rules may have changed due to a recent platform migration, system updates, or through a change in the default spam filtering settings, which could cause emails to be routed to the spam folder instead of the inbox. To check and manage your current rules, sign in to your Xfinity email, click the gear icon for "Settings," and navigate to "Filter Rules" to see your existing rules or create new ones.

Hello, @user_2ndycr thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. I'm glad to hear that you were able to find the issues causing the emails to not be received.
