Comcast Email inbox sign-in.

Why do I have to sign in every time I want to check my email inbox?  Is it because xfinity/comcast wants to get revenue from the advertisement that accompanies each sing in page?

To stay signed in:

  • Don't log out.
  • Don't use Private Browsing when you log in.
  • Check the "Stay signed in" box when you log in.
  • Make sure your browser accepts all the cookies the Comcast login process sets and retains them between sessions.
  • If you use any sort of registry cleaner or other "system tuneup" software, make sure it is not set to delete cookies. Web browsers may have similar settings.

@BruceW ,  Thanks for the solutions.  They seem more complicated than just signing in each time I want to access my emails.  I don't log out and I check the "Stay signed in" box when I log in.  What is "private browsing"?  I'm using Chrome as my browser.  How do I insure that my browser accepts all the cookies the Comcast login process sets and retains them between sessions?  I use Norton 365 but I'm not sure if it or Chrome automatically delete cookies.

You need to have cookies set to not delete when you close your browser; it is the cookies that remember your passwords.  You'll need to go into Chrome Settings and click on Privacy and Security and under General settings click on Allow all cookies.  Unfortunately you can choose only one in that category.
