Comcast breach for home security cameras - is it a scam?
I received a voicemail today from someone purporting to work for Comcast. He said that there had been a security breach in my account by malicious actors aimed at home security cameras. I was advised to restore my cameras to their factory settings and change my passwords before resetting. This didn't seem quite legit but he didn't ask for anything so I'm not sure what's in it for him to lie about it. Anyone else get this type of call? Anyone hear about a Comcast breach?
