user_j05pk4 I would be reaching out if I were in your shoes too. We are here to help. I presume you already did the basic troubleshooting steps such as restart your modem, checked to make sure your phone was plugged into Tel1 or the correct port in the back of the modem and made sure your Wi-Fi/ethernet connected to the internet correct?
Yes I did all that. But when setting up the new gateway the light was white but never blinking. Still the automated system said it needed to reconfigure some things. After about 15-20 minutes the internet worked but the phone doesn’t. Automated troubleshooting says everything is online and correct. But we still have no dial tone for landline phone service. I moved the phone to plug directly into phone 1 on the Gateway.
@XfinityPeterH yes I followed all the steps in automated troubleshooting. Even plugging directly into gateway. Everything checks out with troubleshooting. But white light on gateway never blinked when white. Orange and green blinked but white was/is on constant. Internet is working properly.
