Need Help Retroactively Applying MC50 Code

Hello, I am a new customer signing up for a new Xfinity 500 Mbps internet plan today (6/9). During the online checkout process, a pop-up appeared offering a $50 prepaid card promotion using promo code MC50.

I paused the sign-up process before completing the order and later was unable to return to the same checkout session. As a result, I had to call customer support to complete my enrollment over the phone. When I asked the representative about applying the MC50 promotion, I was told that it could not be added to my order (and that it did not exist). Since I originally received the offer during the checkout process and completed my order the same day, could someone please review my account and manually apply it to my new service? Thank you for your assistance!

Hello and good day user_fe6wum 👋 Thanks for stopping by our community forum with your question, but even more so we infinitely appreciated you getting started with Xfinity! While we're happy to review your account to confirm your order details, I can confirm that the MC50 promotion you're referring to where you get a $50 prepaid card for singing up for internet service is exclusive to signing up online via our website. We do not have the ability to apply this offer retroactively or manually as it is something that is automatically applied specifically for getting signed up online. This is why the agent who helped you get signed up did not have any promotion like that available to them. If you completed your service sign up over the phone with an agent, that specific order would be considered ineligible.

If you'd like for us to confirm the status of your order, please send us a direct chat message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the full service address associated with your account to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

@XfinitySeth Hi there Seth, thank you for clarifying the situation. I now understand that the MC50 offer was limited to online sign-ups.

That said, my frustration is that I intended to sign up online and originally received the offer during the checkout process. However, when I returned later to complete my order, I repeatedly encountered error pages and was unable to finish the sign-up online. As a result, I had to call customer service to complete the enrollment.
Additionally, when I asked about the promotion code, I felt that my concerns were dismissed rather than addressed.

Since the website issues prevented me from completing the online sign-up myself, is there any way the promotion could be honored as a courtesy? I would have much preferred to complete the transaction online, but the technical difficulties prevented me from doing so.
