My line was finally buried after 9 months and now I can't get anyone @xfinity to hook it up

I have been trying since July to get the line to my house buried as it was connected "temporarily" over my neighbors driveway.  It was finally buried last month and then I was told that I needed to contact a different department to get the new buried line connected and the old aerial line moved.  I have called twice and been told that the item has been "resolved" and "closed".  What is wrong with you people how come it is so difficult to actually get someone to help?  How can I get my new line connected and the old one removed from my neighbors driveway?  No way it should take this long.

I have spent over 25 hours on this problem and it is a joke.  Why is it so hard to get such an easy thing done?

I totally understand your frustrations I recently purchased a new home that never had any service and Comcast had to come out and perform the same task and it took over a month. Trust me I feel your pain, but the process is necessary and I will do my best to ensure the wait is minimal. Please send over your full name and street address via private message.

How can I send you a private message when your system won't find you as a user?

To send a "Peer to peer" ("Private") message:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/peer-to-peer-chat
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Ignore that and type "Xfinity Support" there. A drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list (an "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line)
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
