cancel

I want to cancel my service I don't have time for a phone call.  I don't want other services.  I want to cancel.  It shouldn't be this hard.

Hello @user_pvnwyq I will be more than happy to help you with your request. To further assist I will need you to send me a direct message with the name and address of the account you are looking to discontinue.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it.

I'm trying to cancel one of my two modems but can't get a phone number. only a [Edited: "Language"] bot which keeps circling the wagons offering prompts that don't match my needs of canceling one modem. Worst way to provide customer service ever. Going to switch to ATT since obviously this company can't even allow me to talk to a real person. These automated responses get you fired up before you even talk to a real person when you just want a reasonable request. Now I want nothing to do with the entire service. -
