advice on getting rid of cable etc

Our bill keeps going up, yet we have constant intermittent interruptions on internet and cable. it cuts in and out and then will just turn itself off. Comcast sent a tech out to look at it, and they say that maintenance has fixed it, as it was a problem on the pole, but we still have the issue. Can anyone advise on how to ditch comcast? looking into Amazon fire stick etc, but do we still need a cable box to be able to run that? I have tried to look at other options for my xfinity account, but Comcast doesnt like to share that infirmation!

With Amazon firestick, you'll need internet service (could try going through your phone) but you do not need cable tv.

Hi, We hope you re-consider staying with us. Are you interested in an internet-only plan through us? If so, we can partner with you to work on the internet connectivity trouble as well.
