False debt??

i had just moved into an apartment and already had internet and saw an ad for the first 2 weeks of having xfinity being free if you switch so i decided to try it out but decided i was fine with my original provider. I called to cancel, returned my equipment, and called to confirm my cancellation because i hadn’t received any email or text confirmation yet and then maybe 2 months later i started receiving emails saying I owe 300$ and it will be sent to debt collectors, calling has gotten me nowhere, what am i supposed to do I didnt even use xfinity for the full 2 weeks?

Thank you for reaching out to us here @user_r7n7by. I will be happy to look into any account issue from here for you. Could you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it
