There was another episode of Superstore today. I have come to the conclusion that Comcast would release older episodes if they had rights to them.
By know they would have fixed the problem if it was only a coding problem. I guess we just have to monitor the app to see what happens from now on.
Episode 622 is not accessible via "TV Shows" "By Network" "Broadcast Networks" "FOX" "New Girl", but is accessible via "By Network" "FOX" "New Girl" or "Shows M - P" "New Girl". "Search" with keyword "NEW G" will also work. Recurring complaint: if there are four paths to the same destination, why can't Comcast ensure they all work?
Has anyone else with a UHD television (other than Samsung brand) been able to find and download the app? If you need to search the actual title of the app is: Masters 4K.
The app televised the golf from Amen Corner (holes: 11, 12, and 12) in UHD for over 7 hours yesterday. The picture and sound were excellent for the whole broadcast. They avoided problems by having all UHD cameras mounted on solid footing. They did not use any portable 4K cameras the first day. They did not break away for the normal commercials in regular HD which kept this app from failing like earlier experiments.
I have to say this was a very successful experiment for a "live" streaming broadband 4K event in the USA. Most likely the same for the identical signals being broadcast on satellite by Direct TV. I had no access to watch that way.
Additionally, the Amen Corner in 4K live feed can be viewed on an Internet-connected 4K Smart TV, with the following requirements:
Minimum internet download speed of 25 megabits per second
Supported internet-connected 4K Smart TV by LG, Samsung or Sony**
I too thought I had lost the 'free movies' section, but for me it's under 'movies' which is on the first page of Xfinity On Demand. Once you click on the 'movies' bucket/folder, head to the 2nd page and you should see 'free movies' on the 'right' side of the page below 'comedy specials'
Of course everyone's Xfinity On Demand menu might be different, but that's what mine looks like as of this typing.
Hope this helps.
Hi jesse99, thank you for working with me via private message and glad to hear that the refresh I performed corrected the issue. If you have any questions or concerns in the future please let me know.
Hi rizzo5000 -- I can help with that CableCard On Demand issue. I reviewed your account and we have it coded correctly so next step is to verify pairing information. Can you send me the following pieces of CableCard and TiVo information?
