When I go try to load a purchased movie on the Beta X finity roku app it loads all of my 50 plus movies but then does not allow me to select any of them. The screen completely freezes and i get kicked out of the app. I have tried to re install the app with no success. It did work the 1st week the app came out. Many of the movies were very poor quality even though they were supposed to be HD and then after a week or so none of the movies would play at all at this point the app on my roku is useless as I only want to watch the movies I purchased when we were full xfinity tv customers. We have only broadband with e company. Please advise.
I moved your post to the stream app area of the forum. The Roku is in a beta (testing) stage and the Roku use of the stream app is designed to work on a live account with a device in the customer's home connected to their home internet service. It is possible that later on the use you describe might be available but such use has not been discussed or described by Comcast, at least at this point. I have escalated your issue to the Comcast Team available to these forums. Check back often for a reply in this thread or via Private Message from a Comcast Official Employee.
I am out of town but want to set up a program to record on my home DVR. I am using Xfinity Stream. How can I set this up?
When individual shows don't have record buttons, it means that the channels they're on aren't "cloud recordable," and that is indeed what I'm seeing for your account: very few channels are cloud recordable. The X1 DVR on your account still says it's Pending Activation; not sure if it will help to activate it properly, but I would try that first. If that doesn't work, you may need to call customer support for assistance.
I have shows set to record on my dvr but I can’t watch all of them through the Xfinity stream app. Only some of my shows are available through the app but all are available at home on my dvr.
If the missing recordings are the older ones, it is due to the difference in size between your STB dvr and your cloud dvr. The recordings you see on the app are on your cloud dvr which is smaller than your STB dvr. As new recordings are completed the oldest recordings are deleted from the cloud dvr to make room for the new one.
When I am on my Ipad and go to the App Store and try to get the Xfinity My Account app it is
not listed as a choice. Here are the choices: Xfinity Connect, Xfinity Stream, Xfinity Wifi Hotspot, Xfinity Home
and Xfinity TV Remote. There is an Xfinity My Account App that comes up on my iPhone but not on my iPad.
It never says that the My Account App is not available on iPads. Very frustrating!

I provided screen shots on how to adjust/select iphone instead of ipad. you touch the word ipad with your finger and the drop down list appears. then touch iphone and you can load the app. Comcast did not 'make' the app 'universal' so it shows on both lists.
I have an unauthorized user signed in to my account. I have changed the password but the app did not reset so they are still recording things to my DVR. Is there a way to reset the mobile devices that are signed in to my account? I chatted with customer service and they were of no help. They just kept advising me to change the password.
Hi, mpittman - I'm following up on behalf of Ken. I deprovisioned all the devices on your account but I have a question for you: how do you know you have an unauthorized user signed in? Just want to make sure that we are on the right troubleshooting path.
I'm having trouble logging onto the app itself to get the benefits for my trial. It says I logged on succesfully, but am not a current Xfinity user. Which I am otherwise this would not be an option for me. I have a free trial of Live Steam and havent even been able to use it because of this issue. I've called and nobody has been able to help.
