I see no skips in your message above.

Can you tell us a little more about the failure mode.

What program are you using when it skips?

Maybe include which browser/Version too?

Need Email Help? Please post the following information in your post.
Do you use XfinityConnect? The Full or Lite version?
Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)
Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?
Which operating system? XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X
Details of the problem you are having.

Consider that you might have a keylogger virus (or a bad keyboard), and run some online security scans.

Re: skipping letters when typing

It only happens when Im online. I have vista.

And I have corrected the typing. Thats why you dont see the skips.

It cant be the keyboard since it only happens when Im online.

Currently using Norton and nothing comes up in the scans.........

[ Edited ]

OMG  me too!  Its so frustrating. It skips back. I had my son stand behind me and watch me type to see if perhaps I was accidently hitting two keys at once or dragging soemthing on the mouse?? No -it is simply a random thing. Have you got any advice> I wasnt thinking its comcast i was thinking my keyboard??Smiley Sad

I have ran scans and have dont use the comcast anti-virus as I think it slows the computer down. I have windows 7 & I use AVG anti-virus and no threats.  I also have a connection thats way too slow which is how I came accross your post.
