Hello

I just finished installing Win 7 Pro on my laptop over the top of Vista. The installation went fine. my problem is getting on the internet.  My laptop connects through a modem located in another room within my home.  It finds my network connection DAVEF and when i hit connect it ask me for a network key.

I do not know what they mean.

Could someone advise me where to find my network key.  I have a Comcast modem and a Belkin router .

The computer i am using to send this message connects to the internet fine????

Thank you

You have to enter the exact same wireless security key into the the Win 7 client as you had before. It's the key that is currently configured in the router and in the computer's wireless adapter that you are currently using.
