The service tech that set up my comcast bundle never gave me the option of giving my wireless internet/modem a name and my own password. When I look at internet users in the area, they all have names they made up. How can I change mine and the password that allows you access to my internet?

Hello,

You have not told us enough info like what router or gateway you are using. Basically you will have to get into your router/gateway wireless settings. From there you will look for a ssid and password. Make your change and save it and thats it.

It's best to log in to the router using a hardwired ethernet cable whenever you are changing the wireless settings. And of course all of the wireless client's settings need to also be changed to match whatever changes are made in the router.
