any other way other than a second modem?

any other way other than a second modem?

We have a router for Xfinity internet, and it works fine EXCEPT it won't reach all areas of the house.  I have been using a booster because the Xfinity guys who have come out couldn't get the service to all areas of the house and said they don't do boosters.  But now I have a Smart(er) TV in the living room, and both the modem signal and the booster signal do not reach.

Is my only option a second Xfinity router? Or can anyone recommend the best booster to use for this kind of situation?

You want a mesh network. If you live in, Boston, Chicago or Colorado check out xfinity.com/xfipods. Otherwise, consider Orbi

If you just want to get internet to the TV, consider a powerline adapter or a MoCA adapter if you have coax available.

If you have coax close by where you need better signal, MoCA is probably your best option.
