WEP Key retrieval

WEP Key retrieval

Is there a way to retrieve my WEP key incryption password?

First, WEP shouldn't be being used . Second you can log in to the router and see what it is or reset the router/device to factory defaults and start from scratch.

thank you!  I did that and have tried to set up a new network name and password.  The new one does not show up on my 'available wireless networks' list but the router ID shows up and automatically connects.   I do not want to remove the open connection until I can figure out how to get the computer to recognize the named and encryption protected network I think I have set up.......how do I do that?   I can see it when I go into the properties in the network connections but not when I first open and view available networks.
