I have had non stop issues with my internet for the last month. I have a Arris SB6190 modem and am having non-stop drop and reconnect issues. Arris says it is comcasts fault, comcast say it's arris fault. I have already tried 2 different modems (Both Arris SB6190). Ruled out the obvious by eliminating wireless router from equation, I have tried 4 different ethernet cords. I have had two seperate visits from comcast tech's. One time replacing all outside wiring, he claimed it was modem that was failing, Arris warrantied me a brand new one.
Issues still persisted, arris was contacted once again and claimed the Power level for the Upstream bonded channels were out of spec, (said they should be between 45-51 dBmV, actual was between 42.75-44.25)
Scheduled another tech visit from comcast, gave him the information regarding power level and he said that was false. He stated they had some wiring issues along the main line and would be replacing more wiring.
Same issues still happening.
Does anyone have a solution for this? New modem? Different settings? I attached screenshots of the current numbers.
