Unable to reach Gigabit Speed

I just started my new Gigabit Service.  I am using a Netscape CM1000 Modem.  When I run Speed Test (The XFinity version and several others) directly connected to the modem I usually never receive more than 150 to 200 M download speed.  I have gone past 200 twice up to 250M but only for a brief second or two.  I have had a tech onsite twice now and they removed some interferrence and said I had strong signal.  However my speed has not increased more than I was able to get with the Blast 150 service.

 

Is there a configuration issue with my modem?  Is there a setup issue at Comcast? 

 

I live in the Jacksonville, FL area.

What do the modem's signal stats look like ? Try getting them here; http://192.168.100.1

Please post the *Downstream Power Level*, the *Upstream Power Level*, and the *SNR* (Signal to Noise Ratio) numbers.


What are you getting for the upload speed ?

I will post that info later today.  I am getting abut 40 to 50M Upload.  I have about 13ms Latency.

O/k. That upload speed seems to indicate that it is not a provisioning / configuration file issue.

@MichaelFP,

Since you've had two techs out already, I've asked an employee to take a look at your power levels, account set up and your node health. You can expect a reply in this thread. 

 

FYI: They owe you a $20 credit for every tech visit after the first for the same problem.You can also get a credit for your service from the time you first reported the issue until it is resolved.

And one more piece of info.  I had asked that my old modem an Arris SB8200 be deleted from my account however it is still on my account so I have 2 modems listed in case that makes a difference.
