I have SB6121 and my speed is 10 Mbps. Comcast mentioned they wouldn't support SB6121 any more. Then I purchased Netgear CM400 and after a week it stopped working. Now I purchased SB6141 and still it says Modem is not supported when I login to Comcast website. But internet is working. Is this something wrong with my speed that I purchased from Comcast.

The 6141 is *more than* fine for only 10 Mbps;

The customer support still mentioned I need to upgrade. I am not sure why??

They are misinformed. This has been going on for years..... It is not EOL.

I don't care what it shows there. I don't know what kind of data is being taken in to account there. Please re-visit the link I posted earlier. Go to this link as well and put in the requested info and see what it says;

This morning. I had no internet. I had to call Activation department to activate the modem again..

 

Thank God.

 

I am calling Customer care every day.

It is working now. Do you recommend me buying a new modem??
