I had been having a great deal of trouble with the Motorola SBG6580 gateway modem so I went and purchased a Motorola SB6121 along with a new Netgear WNR1000v3 router.  When I have a computer or device hooked directly into the router, I am getting download speeds of around 75 mbps download and 11 mbps upload, sometimes even higher.  When testing my speed wirelessly, like with a laptop, my download speed is down to about 22 mbps but my upload remains around 10 or 11 mbps.  I have live chatted on Netgear's support site but it really hasn't helped much so far. They have had me change my channel, refresh my firmware, and change the Fragmentation Length and CTS/RTS Threshold values to 2304.   Does anyone have a clue what might be killing my wireless speeds?
