Motorola SB6121 vs Zoom 5341J

Hi, 

 

I have just bought a Motorola SB6121 and when i was looking how to install it i found this thread:

Have those issues been fixed already? 

Do you reccomend to return it and buy the Zoom 5341J instead?

 

I didnt test it already.

Many of us have the Zoom 5341J....and like it very much....it also allows for 8 DOWNstream channels and 4 UPstream channels, thus "future-proofing" for network for quite awhile...!Smiley Wink

The new Moto SB6141 is also an "8X4" modem that just got on the CC "Approved" list....

IMHO....Return the 6121...and get the 5341J....You'll be glad you did!!

I just did it.

I was checking the website and notice the 8x4 vs 4x4 so no reason not to change it.
