Modem Continuously Goes Offline When Not In Use

Hello,

 

I recently got the Xfinity X1 service with cable and wifi, and did the self set-up. We had no problems with our Internet for about a week, but now, whenever we aren't using our wifi (example: while we're sleeping or at work), the modem's "online" light will eventually go out and all of the other lights will start blinking.

On our phones, it has the wifi signal icon indicating that we are connected to wifi but when we try to open anything on our phones, nothing will load, and when we turn on our TV it says "something isn't quite right."

I've found that reconnecting the cable wires will get it to work again but I've had to do that every day for the past week. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

Start with the modem's signal stats. Perhaps they already are, or they are close to being out of spec and intermittently they go completely of spec. Try getting them here http://192.168.100.1 or here http://10.0.0.1

Please post the *Downstream Power Level*, the *Upstream Power Level*, and the *SNR* (Signal to Noise Ratio) numbers.

What is the exact make and model number of the modem ?
