I am applying for a work from home job with a company based out of Hong Kong. They tested my connection to their servers and tell me that my ping is far too high to work. It's averaging about 200+. I've checked my internet speed, the upload and download speeds are well above average. I've tried resetting my modem/router gateway, connecting to the gateway with an ethernet cable (this doesn't change the ping at all) and updating my drivers. I've also tried connecting on different computers, exact same results. Is there anything that Comcast can do or are the servers just too far away? I'm located in Massachusetts. The job I'm applying for is one that many people in the US work for, so I know it is possible to connect successfully to their servers from here, just not sure why I can't.
