I enjoyed wireless with an Airort extreme basestation for a week. Comcast replaced the outside cable box and modem. Now I cannot get a wireless connection, even though I can connect by ethernet. I have reinstelled the Basestation (yes DHCP) with no success, ideas?

Reset everything in the correct order.

Turn off your Airport.
Unplug your cable modem.
Leave the cable modem unpowered for about 30 seconds.
Plug the cable modem back in.
Wait for it to complete it's initialization and synchronization process.
Once the modem has all lights solid green, turn on your Airport.
Once the Airport is done booting, reboot your Mac.
