intermittent audio

Since this summer, audio randomly disappears. channel up or down and it returns. Been thru 5 boxes, service call and still nothing. They keep saying refresh, but up to 10 times and evening is insane. Tv is fine - am sure it is HDMI signal.  Help!!! There is always a very slight flick, barely noticeable when it happens.

I'd next check for firmware updates for your TV, and apply if there are any.


Sometimes HDMI just doesn't play well between devices, and that's when you might consider using component cables for a while, and see if a fix on the box side or the TV firmware comes down the road in another 6 months or so.
